Last morning in Sendai...
The time went by WAY too fast but we had a great time in Sendai!

Dad was thrilled that we had a McD's right next next to our hotel. Mom got a kick out of the separation of the smoking and non-smoking sections :O)
To make our morning complete, right before we got on the train for Akita 2 of my favorite people rode their bikes with all their kids to our hotel to say goodbye! Miki- who came to the church on sunday to say hi- and Megumi!

I met these girls teaching a children's English class. Miki (brown coat) approached us because she wanted to be taught about the church and Megumi (green jacket) joined in because it looked fun :o)

Miki's kids are Masato and Saki chan (both in the blue puffy coats). Saki, the little girl, was actually born while I was serving in Sendai! She sure had grown up a ton! Megumi's kids are Hora (the boy in the hat) and Sora (being held be his mama).

Megumi also had her little girl since i've been home so this was the first time i met her... she was thrilled, can't you tell :o) She had a little cold so notice the cute little mask she was wearing!

They didn't remember me, but I couldn't believe how much they'd grown up!

It was a perfect ending to our visit to Sendai.....
Next stop...Akita!!
ps- do you like my Japanese-ish background? :o) I was very proud :)
