Happy 2nd Birthday Ty!

How can my little boy be 2 already??? I don't know how it happened but its true!! Ty is TWO!! Here are a few pics from his big day :)

Here's his bday present. It doesn't really fit in our living room, but i thought it would be fun for the party so tried to make it work.


First thing Ty did was bring all his cars inside it :)

and no party is complete without a few balloons!

so...I was just going to make cupcakes for everyone but last minute---like 3 hours before the party- i decided to bake a Lightning McQueen cake!! and then when matt got home, I let him figure out how to decorate it...aren't i so nice?? :o)


It turned out perfect!!!! nice work daddy!!

Halloween!!

This year for Halloween we had planned to be in Idaho but last minute headed down to Utah so we could be with all our family- Crocketts and Montgomerys! It was lots-o-fun!

I tried and tried to find Ty a Monster's Inc Sully costume that wasn't over $100 but failed, so Ty ended up being a cute little dino/green monster from Monster's Inc to match his ADORABLE cousin Madi who was Boo! Kristin (my sister) made this costume...the first thing she's made since 7th grade home ec i might add.... and it is by far the cutest thing i've ever seen..... (i'm already planning on stealing it so when our #2 baby is about 2 she can be Boo then Ty can be Sully :o)












So..... Ty was a little grumpy this year, i think he was trying to get into his role as being a little monster :) Look closely you can see tears on his cheeks in this one.....











He missed his nap and would've been more than happy to just stay home and play with his train and cars and eat donuts with Aunt Dede :o)










































We finally convinced him to go trick or treating...in the stroller :-)


Cute tanner came with us for a little bit, too...

The three amigos..... they were ALL exhausted...poor things!

Once Ty started to realized that people were giving him candy, it wasn't too terrible ;-P Madi loved the candy, too!

It's official!

It's official....well, as official as it can be. Ty is going to have a little SISTER!!! :) The estimated due date of our little girl is January 29th- but I'm still going to say the first week of Feb so I don't get my hopes up ;)



We're so excited!! and a little surprised actually :) EVERYONE, including us, thought Ty would get a little brother to toughin' up. i'm sure this little girl will learn real quick to hold her own against her big bro though :)

Laredo and stuff...

I figured since most of you have probably never heard of Laredo I would give you a little overview of what we've been doing down here..................... nothing actually :) We live about 5 miles from Mexico and EVERYONE here speaks spanish! It's so so hot we spend most days inside. But ty has come up with many ways to entertain himself!

Ty loves the tile floor in our apt because he can drag whatever he can find and it makes a cool noise.

Of course he always has to run when he does this ;-)
