New York- part 1

We absolutely LOVE it out here!! Upstate NY is one of the most beautiful places i have ever seen!! it is so green and the blue skies go on forever!! It is so much fun being close to some church sites...here is one of our first adventures here in NY!

This is first Publication site of the Book of Mormon.

Downstairs was a bookshop....


They went through and showed us the process of printing and binding those first editions.... it was INTENSE!!

Here is the upstairs of the book shop where the printing would have been done.


The Book of Mormon was printed paragraph by paragraph... can you even imagine the time that would take??



After the full sheets were printed, they would fold it and smash it together for hours. Then they would cut the folded part of the book, take string and basically sew the pages together....

Lastly, they would put the cover on and press it together forever :)
and vuala!! a Book of Mormon :O)
