Before...
Our first night... we had lots of help from family and friends tearing everything out!!
Jazzy wanted to help, too....hahaha!!
Everything has been demo'd- Now it's time to put it all back together!
Cabinets:
Granite:
Electrical and Appliances:
Plumbing and tile:
Drywall, Light fixtures, cleaning, and ALL the finishing touches!! (ps- this was 4 hours until the family got home :)
Denny and Heather fixed up the front room and spruced up the dining room and entry way---it looked awesome!
TA-DA!!! we did it! I think it turned out pretty good :-D
Now, we're bringing the family home :) Remember, my mom and McKay had no idea.... Dad knew it was happening but i don't think even he understood how awesome it would turn out!
McKay was the first to notice the front room, but he just thought we had done it while he was on his mission... Then mom went into a little shock :)
Then she noticed the entry way and dining room....she was all smiles!!
Next stop----the kitchen!
Mom about passed out---literally! she starting crying, even dad was a little teary :) I wish i could post the video on here!
She started dancing around her new kitchen, touching everything, going, "I love this and I love this! and i love this! and I love this!!" IT was so cute!!!
It was so fun to see my parents so happy----well worth the five days of hard work and no sleep!!! :)

YOu guys are so awesome to do that for your parents! My siblings and I just redid my parents' house last summer, but we were not talented enough to do it ourselves. Her kitchen ROCKS! THe kitchen is the most important part of the house, and it looks gorgeous! And huge!
Matt you are awesome!!!!! The other houses he did turned out so amazing too. I'm so glad that I got to see the video. Your Mom was so so so funny!!!
I can just picture your mom acting like her bubbly self times 100. I would have loved to see it in real life though.
